Art Rental & Sales Programme
Why rent?
Rental is an easy, affordable way to enrich your home or business. At any time or if you have a special event such as a reception party, open house or important business meeting, rental art will enhance your environment without committing to ownership.
Can I rent to own?
You may also choose to rent because you are interested in purchasing the art but wish to experience the art in your home. When you choose to purchase, the first 3 months rental fees are deducted from the purchase price.
What kind of art is available?
All artwork for sale is available for rental. All pieces are original acrylic in a variety of styles.
Where Can I See the Art?
Arrangements can be made to view the work in person in your home, office or the artists studio and coordinate delivery and payment.
How long is the rental period?
The minimum rental period is three months with a maximum of six months. You are responsible for returning the art promptly at the end of the rental period without notice. There is an overdue charge of $10.00 per day.
How are the fees determined?
The purchase prices are determined by the artist. Rental rates begin at $25.00 a month for pieces with purchase prices of $500.00 and under. The monthly rental fee is 5% of the purchase price for works over $500.00.
How can I pay for my rental or purchase?
All fees are payable in advance and may be made by cash or cheque.
Does the artist deliver and install the art work?
Arrangements for delivery and installation will be made through the artist.
Who's responsible for insurance?
As the renter, you are responsible for having appropriate insurance coverage for works you have rented. Check your home/business insurance policy for details. Proof of insurance may be requested.
What if the work gets damaged in my home/business?
You are responsible for any damage up to the purchase price of the art. Your insurance policy should cover the cost of your repair or replacement, but check with your insurance agent to be sure.
